“Hotel Camilla was a wonderful stay for our Florence visit. The hotel is conveniently located to many wonderful historical sites and is walking distance to practically anywhere you would want to visit. There are a lot of wonderful eats to visit around it And the market is very close. Our family ended up renting four different rooms. The staff was so kind to help us switch one of the rooms when the AC was not working. Everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed their stay overall. All of the staff was so wonderful and welcoming. We appreciated all of their hard work from those who help keep our room clean to the staff managing the breakfast. Of course, the front desk staff was always wonderful, ensuring that we were comfortable. The staff even helped us get our luggage up and down the stairs when we visited as there is no lift. The stairwell does have lights that make the stairway easy to navigate. It is two flights of stairs. Remember, this hotel is situated in a historic district and the buildings are older. That is part of what captures the charm and adventure of visiting Florence! We definitely look forward to our next visit in Florence and staying at Hotel Camilla!”
“We were really happy that we booked Hotel Camilla for our trip to Florence. The location was excellent, very central and lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby and all the attractions within easy walking distance. It is in a nice neighbourhood and despite being in such a busy place, the hotel was very quiet with no noise disturbance. The A/C is excellent and the beds very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great and the rooms very clean. Breakfast was good with a decent selection of breads, cakes, fruit, cheeses, meats, cereals and yoghurt. Plenty choice of juices and a very good coffee machine. Above all, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. We would happily stay here again.”
“Hotel with a great location, a minute away from the biggest action of Florence. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is quite enough to start the day. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located in an old building on the second floor without an elevator.”
